The story behind the soundtrack to the book
The first book review is in, and it’s a ten! The FT business books: April edition listed Tarzan Economics, alongside my good friend Panos Panay’s Two Beats Ahead as their top picks for April’s reading list. Put them both in your basket.
The review concluded that ‘If this entertaining book doesn’t yet have a Spotify playlist, it certainly should do’. Well it already does, and we have the Brazilian music lawyer Luciana Soares de Souza (pictured) to thank for this novel idea.
Admittedly, I was kicking myself. Why hadn’t we thought of this before? Books need soundtracks. Streaming services make that possible. Every author with a book in the pipeline should be thinking about merging the two, not just me.
